True Living Ministry

Grow in Your Understanding of God's Word

Explore Scripture, strengthen your faith, and discover how biblical truth applies to everyday life.

The Importance of Scripture

More Than Reading. Learning to Understand.

The Bible is central to the Christian life. Through Scripture, we learn about God's character, His promises, His instructions, and His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.

Meaningful Bible study involves more than reading a passage and moving on. It requires attention to context, a desire to understand the author's message, and a willingness to apply biblical truth.

At True Living Ministry, we encourage a thoughtful, Scripture-centered approach that helps people grow in knowledge, discernment, and Christian discipleship.

A Practical Study Method

Three Foundations of Bible Study

These simple steps can help you approach any passage with greater care and understanding.

01 | Observation

What Does the Passage Say?

Read the passage carefully. Identify who is speaking, who is being addressed, and what is happening.

Look for repeated words, commands, promises, contrasts, and important details. Read the surrounding verses to understand the passage in context.

02 | Interpretation

What Does the Passage Mean?

Consider the historical setting, literary context, and the message the biblical author intended to communicate.

Compare related passages when helpful. Avoid building a conclusion on a single verse removed from its context.

03 | Application

How Should I Respond?

After understanding the passage, consider how its truth should shape your beliefs, attitudes, and actions.

Ask what the passage teaches about God, humanity, faith, obedience, and Christian living.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
2 Timothy 2:15 | KJV
