Biblical Counseling
Scripture-centered guidance for life's challenges, meaningful conversations, and spiritual growth grounded in God's Word.
God's Word for Real-Life Struggles
Life brings difficult questions, strained relationships, grief, uncertainty, and seasons of discouragement. Biblical counseling seeks to address these experiences through the truth and wisdom of Scripture.
Rather than offering a quick answer to every problem, this approach encourages thoughtful conversations, prayer, biblical understanding, and practical application of God's Word.
Our desire is to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and respond faithfully to the challenges they face.

Biblical Counseling vs. Secular Counseling
Both approaches may address personal struggles, but they begin with different foundations and may serve different needs.
Biblical Counseling
Uses Scripture and Christian theology as the primary framework for spiritual guidance.
- Grounded in biblical teaching
- Encourages repentance, forgiveness, and discipleship
- Explores spiritual concerns and personal responses
- Emphasizes prayer and applying God's Word
- Seeks spiritual growth and Christlike living
Secular Clinical Counseling
Generally uses psychological research, clinical assessment, and therapeutic methods.
- Grounded in psychological and clinical frameworks
- May use evidence-based therapies
- Addresses emotional and behavioral symptoms
- Develops coping and communication skills
- May include diagnosis and mental health treatment
Important: Biblical counseling certification is not the same as state licensure to provide clinical mental health treatment. Depending on individual needs, spiritual guidance and licensed healthcare may serve complementary roles.
